Fashion’s Night Out (FNO) is a big event across the country that kicked off on September 6. Several malls nationwide participated in this event including the International Plaza on Bay Street in Tampa, FL. This was their second year engaging in this event and I must say it was a hit!
Upon entering the mall entrance by the food court, guests were greeted on the red carpet by Katy Perry and Marilyn Monroe celebrity look-alikes. Also, paparazzi was in different parts of the mall snapping pictures at everyone who wasn’t camera shy.
Rolling in Style
Dillard’s department store hosted a runway fashion show featuring Fall’s latest looks. There was plenty of entertainment across the mall to engage everyone in attendance. Several stores within the mall participated in the FNO event by having promotions and giveaways. For instance, Sephora provided mini makeovers, while stores like Gucci handed out champagne.
The fun didn’t stop when the mall shut down. There were several restaurants on Bay Street that provided drink and food specials as a result of the FNO event. Since this event tends to draw a big crowd, it only made sense for some of these companies to do so.
The official after party was at Ocean Prime where I indulged in a hypnotini made specifically for the event. I was entertained there with live music, food, and drink while having a good time with all the fashion goers in the restaurant’s Blu lounge.
